Happy Valentine’s!!!

Tomorrow both kids are having their Valentine’s day parties at school, which means we had to prepare cards for all kids in their classes tonight. My daughter wanted princess cards for her friends, so we bought those and put a lollipop and sticker with each one. I was so proud of her, she printed her name, the names of her teachers and the names of most kids on their cards. She’s very excited about giving them out tomorrow! I got to make the cards for my son’s classmates and his teachers…YAY!!!  Here is one of the cards I made tonight. I hope you like it and enjoy the video. Please leave a comment!

Card Stock: Very Vanilla, Real Red and Chocolate Chip

Ink: Real Red and Pretty in Pink

Stamp Sets: Teeny Tiny Wishes and With all my Heart

Other: White Gel Pen, Sending Love DSP (Designer Series Paper) and 1/4 inch Pretty in Pink Grosgrain Ribbon

Keepin’ it Simple and Sweet!

I know I haven’t been actively posting like I hoped I would be at the beginning of the year. I’ve just been exhausted with my son getting sick, than preparing my swap for the demonstrator Megameeting, than for the Open house and now I’m preparing for the first Scrapbooking Club meeting on February 18th.  Besides all that, I’m in the search for hostesses, so if you’re interested give me a call ;) . I was hoping to have a workshop or two during Sale-a-bration but it seems like everyone is just too busy. I totally understand!!! Speaking of that demo megameeting, I forgot to share my swap card with you; I’ll take a picture of it and post it tomorrow.

With everything going on and everyone being so busy, I decided to put together a couple of super simple and fast cards. Using KISS (Keep it simple sweetie!) design principles makes these cards fun and beautiful (or at least I think so :) ). I hope you like them too!

Note: I promise never to wear that sweat shirt again while making a video, so you can actually see my hands.

Happy Birthday Matt!

It’s my hubby’s birthday today, so guess what? I made him a card…what a surprise! This will have to be a very short post tonight but I promise a longer one tomorrow with 2 videos. Here is a picture and the video of the card I made him. I hope he (and you, of course) likes it!
