What a day it was today? So much fun, I’m a little sad that it went by so quickly. My daughter had a concert at school for Grandparents, but she made it very clear that parents were invited too. Each class got to sing a song or say a poem about grandparents. It was so cute and very touching…I have to admit I had to quickly wipe away tears before my mom and my in-laws could see. After the concert we got to take the kids home, so we had a lot of extra time together today. It was fantastic!!!
Ok, onto cards 4 & 5. I figure that since tomorrow is Friday I wouldn’t get a chance to post a picture of the last card so I’m posting it today (it’s Friday already actually…hehehe) instead. The fourth card uses the Candy Cane Designer Series Paper from the Holiday Mini, which made my must-have list as soon as I saw it way back at the beginning of July. Did you know that one of the benefits of being a demonstrator is that we get to see and order from the new catalogues a least a month before everyone else does? The red dots on the piece on the top left corner are all glittered and in the piece in the bottom right corner the red strips are glittered — so pretty and it makes it so easy to add a wow factor to your card in a hurry. The fifth card is super easy but very elegant. With it’s simple colour scheme, you only need minimal supplies.
