Lesson learned for today — One of the side effects of non-drowsy Reactine is drowsiness…does that make sense to anyone??? LOL.
If you’re wondering about the title of this post, it’s because today’s card just makes me happy. I love the bright colours, the contemporary design and the fact that all the pieces started out as scraps on my desk. The pattern paper is from the Island Oasis Designer Series Paper in the Summer mini. It’s one of my favourite paper packs because it has the best colours ever…too bad it’s only around till the end of August:( I used my scalloped edge punch to make the Tempting Turquoise edge and my word window punch to make the three horizontal Rose Red lines. The sentiment is from the stamp set ”With all my heart”, I’m so glad this stamp set was carried over from the Occasions Mini. I added some random green buttons and used my corner rounder to round off the bottom corners of the card. Here’s the card, I hope you like it.

Hello there, I hope you’re all doing well. For today’s card I used Stampin’ Write Markers to colour in the flowers and the stems on the stamp, puffed on the stamp and stamped it on whisper white paper. I love these markers because they makes it so easy to use multiple colours on the same stamp. There are so many uses for these markers and they come in every Stampin’ Up! colour, maybe I’ll show you another technique tomorrow. I hope you like the card.

I didn’t post yesterday because it was my cousin’s wedding, so things were a tad busy. The wedding was beautiful and the party was tons of fun…I don’t think my daughter got off the dance floor for a minute. My son was a bit of a handful, but that’s just how he is, LOL! I’ve almost recovered.
Today was lots of fun too, I made a Build-a-Bear card with my daughter’s daycare class. The kids (all 16 of them) were great, they made an “I {heart} You Beary Much” card which some plan on giving to their mom, dad, pet, sibling or even their stuffed animal. They all loved it and were giving me high fives and hugs when I was leaving. That made me so happy and I think it made my daughter very proud. I hope their parents like the cards too. It took the kids about an hour to make one card, so I’ve decided to offer kids birthday parties where the kids get to make two projects. I think the Build-a-bear and the Make a Monster stamp sets would be perfect for that…I’m getting so excited about it!!!
Anyway, on to yesterday’s card. It uses one of my favourite stamp sets, Vintage Vogue, and my all time favourite colour, Rich Razzleberry. I hope you like it!
Card Stock:Soft Suede, Whisper White and Rich Razzleberry

Good evening! I made today’s card for my cousin’s wedding. My daughter is going to be the flower girl and she’s super excited. I wish I could take credit for the creative idea of this card but I can’t. I got the idea and the template from Lynn Pratt. I’ll update the product list at the end of the post on Monday, but for now I hope you enjoy the card!

I’m BAAAACK!!! Sorry it’s been so long since I posted any cards or videos on my blog. Things were just so crazy from February to April and I guess I just fell out of the habit of taking pictures of my cards and writing on my blog. I’ve decided to change all of that and I’m starting today!!! I made a bunch of cards in the last week or so and took pictures of them all to show you. I’ll be posting a picture a day for the next 10 days. I think you’re going to really like the simple designs I’ve chosen. I hope you’ll join me and leave me a comment or two!!!

Tomorrow both kids are having their Valentine’s day parties at school, which means we had to prepare cards for all kids in their classes tonight. My daughter wanted princess cards for her friends, so we bought those and put a lollipop and sticker with each one. I was so proud of her, she printed her name, the names of her teachers and the names of most kids on their cards. She’s very excited about giving them out tomorrow! I got to make the cards for my son’s classmates and his teachers…YAY!!! Here is one of the cards I made tonight. I hope you like it and enjoy the video. Please leave a comment!

I know I haven’t been actively posting like I hoped I would be at the beginning of the year. I’ve just been exhausted with my son getting sick, than preparing my swap for the demonstrator Megameeting, than for the Open house and now I’m preparing for the first Scrapbooking Club meeting on February 18th. Besides all that, I’m in the search for hostesses, so if you’re interested give me a call . I was hoping to have a workshop or two during Sale-a-bration but it seems like everyone is just too busy. I totally understand!!! Speaking of that demo megameeting, I forgot to share my swap card with you; I’ll take a picture of it and post it tomorrow.
With everything going on and everyone being so busy, I decided to put together a couple of super simple and fast cards. Using KISS (Keep it simple sweetie!) design principles makes these cards fun and beautiful (or at least I think so ). I hope you like them too!
Note: I promise never to wear that sweat shirt again while making a video, so you can actually see my hands.
